Mike

Mike leads the R&D lab for Opun in Computer Science and Mathematics. He manages Opun’s team of researchers and is instrumental in developing solutions in Computer Vision, Machine Learning, and IoT.

He received master’s degree in physics, and further specialized in biophysics, computer and human vision. He has a number of works on theory of human vision and machine vision. Most of his works are focused on how human and machine perceive, recognize, and memorize. Mike has been involved in researches and development of facial recognition methods, vital signs recognition methods, medical images analysis. He has more than 30 publications to his credit on these subjects. Mike’s particular scientific research area of interest is computer vision-based analysis of human health and behavior.

Mike enjoys drumming in his free time.
